Mandarin Aloud is a beginner Mandarin practice app. This privacy policy and the related support information are provided by Markform Inc.
Account registration
Mandarin Aloud does not require an account or login.
App privacy
Mandarin Aloud does not collect names, email addresses, or contact information. The app does not collect or upload user recordings, and it does not maintain cloud learning history. Purchase-related processing by Apple or Google is described below.
Mandarin Aloud does not include advertising or analytics tools of its own.
On-device preferences
The app may store simple on-device preferences, such as whether the user has already seen the Mandarin Basics intro.
On Android, these preferences may be included in your device's system backup, depending on your device settings.
Teaching audio
Standard Mandarin teaching audio is delivered as static app content. The standard sentence audio and tone examples in this app are AI-generated and reviewed for beginner Mandarin practice.
Full Access purchases
Full Access is a one-time purchase handled by the app store you use: Apple In-App Purchase on Apple devices, or Google Play Billing on Android. Apple or Google processes payment and purchase-related information under its own privacy policy. Mandarin Aloud does not receive your payment card details and does not send purchase information to its own servers.
The Android app includes Google's Play Billing Library, which may send technical diagnostic information about billing operations and your device to Google.
Refund requests are handled through the applicable app store and are subject to its policies.
Restore Purchases is available in About / Settings to restore a previous Full Access purchase on the same store account.
Website privacy
This website is only used to host the app privacy and support pages. This website does not collect personal information and does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, contact forms, user accounts, cookies, localStorage, or payment processing.
